Theoretical foundations for developing the intellectual and creative competence of future physical education teachers

Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical foundations for developing the intellectual and creative competence of future physical education teachers. The essence and content of the concepts of intelligence, creativity, and intellectual culture are revealed. Based on the scientific views of national and foreign scholars, as well as regulatory and legal documents governing the field of education, the pedagogical significance of forming this competence is highlighted.
